Professional Interests

Student-athletes, recovery from injury, mindfulness, emotional regulation, social justice and optimal performance. I work from a Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) approach while integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy (Client-Centered).

About Me

I am originally from Metro Detroit and currently working towards a PsyD in Clinical Psychology at John F. Kennedy school of psychology at National University. I was a student-athlete at Eastern Michigan University and The University of Findlay. I am a sport fanatic and enjoy physical exercise, video games, and documentaries.

How I Work With Students

I approach work with students by first identifying that each individual is doing their best regardless of circumstances. I believe students hold the strength and knowledge to overcome any obstacle presented before them. My approach to therapy is to validate feelings, thoughts, and emotions in hopes to support students in finding solutions and coping mechanisms for presenting issues. I believe the therapeutic relationship between the clinician and student is essential, and creates a safe environment for collaboration.
