The tobacco industry has long promoted their nicotine products by mimicking candy and other sweet treats in order to entice a younger crowd of future smokers. There is nothing sweet about making young children positively associate these products with candy and sometimes even trick them into thinking nicotine products are something sweet for them to eat.
