Join us for a therapeutic poetry healing gathering inspired by the timeless works of Hafez and Rumi. Open to all students, this group fosters connection, nurtures harmony, and cultivates a sense of belonging through the calming and transformative power of poetry.
Students are provided with a space to engage in meaningful dialogue around the themes of poetry, viewed through a therapeutic lens. Group participants are offered Persian tea, poetry reading cards and much grounding space for on-going support and navigation of life stressors especially as students.

- Movimiento Latino
Movimiento Latino is a group that is open to all students and aims to support student expression using music and dance to explore ethnic identity. Students are introduced to ceremonial, folk and social music that highlight the rich diversity of the Latiné community. Music and dance are used as an art form to teach students healthy ways to manage mood, increase confidence, and improve their overall wellness. No dance experience is necessary, and the group is open to all students who hope to explore Latiné identity and lived experiences.

- Aggies 4 Recovery: Drop-In Harm Reduction Support Group for Students with Substance Abuse Concerns
Aggies for Recovery is a student run organization that helps students seeking recovery from any disruptive behavior including substance abuse, eating disorders, porn addiction or anything else you might be struggling with. We put a big emphasis on harm reduction which means we meet you where you’re at in your recovery so you don’t have to be completely abstinent to join us, you can figure it out as you go along and find what works for you. We have 3 meetings a week. All of our meetings remain completely confidential so it’s a safe space for everyone. Our goal is to foster a meaningful connection where everyone feels supported. We understand that amidst the hustle of school, social expectations, and work commitments, finding space to grieve can often be difficult. Here, you'll find a supportive community that allows you to process your loss, learn coping strategies through a multicultural lens, and connect with peers facing similar experiences.
Our group is open to all students, particularly those who haven't experienced grief in the past and are navigating this new territory for the first time. We also offer guidance for those mourning the loss of a cherished pet, with the option to consult with our facilitator for specialized support.

Join the Heart of Medicine: A Supportive Community for Medical Students
Embark on a journey of growth and connection with "Heart of Medicine," a support group tailored specifically for medical students like you. Here, you'll find a shared space to delve into the unique challenges and experiences of medical school life.
This group is all about personal development, offering a supportive environment where you can both seek encouragement and uplift your peers. Whether you're in your first year or nearing the end of your medical education, every student across all years is welcome and encouraged to be a part of this community.
To ensure accessibility for everyone, "Heart of Medicine" is hosted via an encrypted version of Zoom, allowing students from all years to join easily. The group meets every other week from September 6th through December 13th, creating a consistent space for ongoing support and growth. While attendance at all sessions is strongly encouraged, we understand the demands of medical school and aim to accommodate your schedule.
