UC SHIP Vision benefits are provided through Anthem Blue View Vision, and utilize the Blue View Vision Insight Network of providers.

A contact lens fitting and up to two follow-up visits are available to you after you've had a comprehensive eye exam. In addition to the eye exam fee ($10 copay), there is typically a fee for fitting and evaluating the fit of the contact lenses. This will depend on the type of lenses to be fitted (e.g. for astigmatism or no astigmatism, soft disposable or gas permeable, and the level of complexity). The fitting fee can range from $32 to $300.
