Nature Rx
The Nature Rx program at UC Davis aims to improve well-being by encouraging people to spend time outdoors. Although students can receive a "nature prescription" as part of their healthcare at Student Health and Counseling Services, the benefits of spending time outside are available to everyone.
Wellness Coaching
Health and wellness coaching is a free service that helps students make small, easy changes to improve their overall well-being and success in school. The coaches empower students to focus on their personal strengths and work toward meaningful health goals.
Therapy Fluffies
Aggie Mental Health partners with local organizations to bring certified therapy dogs to campus once a quarter, helping students de-stress during midterms. This page provides information on how these "Therapy Fluffy" events are organized and where to find event announcements.
Get Funding to Reduce Loneliness on Campus
The "Belonging Boost" Grant program provides UC Davis Registered Student Organizations (RSOs) with up to $100 to host a welcoming social event. The goal is to help new members feel more comfortable joining groups and to combat loneliness on campus, especially during the winter and spring quarters. The funding can be used for things like food, event supplies or space rentals.
Students Behind the Aggie Mental Health Campaign
Are you interested in getting involved with mental health initiatives on campus? The Aggie Mental Health campaign is a student-run effort at UC Davis with two key roles: Ambassadors, who promote mental health at events, and Student Coordinators, who work behind the scenes on projects like grants and advocacy projects. You can learn more about these opportunities and how to apply on the webpage.
