Counseling Services help students to realize their academic and personal goals. Meeting with a counselor can help students clarify issues, explore options, and cope more effectively.
Counseling Services help you with:
Individual Counseling is confidential short-term therapy available to all registered UC Davis students at no charge.
There are a variety of counseling groups to help students find a forum of peer support and meet with other students who can relate to one another.
Career counseling is offered in either individual or group formats to assist students with academic and career issues.
CAN is comprised of a team of counselors who are here to help students achieve their goals and address factors that may be affecting their academic success.
SHCS provides group and individual services for those seeking guidance concerning eating disorders.

Counseling for Med Students:
Services are available at no charge to all registered School of Medicine students and provided at the Facilities Support Services Building (FSSB. Suite 1400) (This location is for pre-scheduled appointments only)
Be sure to tell us that you are a Med Student when scheduling an appointment. SHCS staff are from the main campus and are not affiliated with the Department of Psychiatry or any other UCDHS Department.
Counseling for Vet Med Students:
Services are available at no charge to all registered Veterinary Medicine students and provided at the Schalm Hall (This location is for pre-scheduled appointments only)
Be sure to tell us that you are a Vet Med Student when scheduling an appointment with a Vet Med Counselor.
