How I Work With Students

I use a strength-based approach that integrates multicultural and ecological frameworks which acknowledge that each of us brings our own life experiences, knowledge, wisdom, and cultural identities to the process of counseling. I take a holistic approach to health and wellness and collaborate with you to create an affirming space in which you can explore concerns and gain skills for coping more effectively with life's challenges.

I work with all students and have a specialty focus working with graduate students, veterans and student of color. My therapy interests include Mental Health research, outreach and education, social justice/diversity education and training, i career/professional development for women of color, identity development, academic performance and procrastination, clinical training and supervision
