How I Work With Students

It's very important for me to work with students holistically, including humor, compassion and authenticity. I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive space for students to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. I am passionate about connecting students to the comprehensive services they need. My goal is to help students get connected to necessary mental health services, community providers, as well as on and off-campus resources that will allow a student to thrive here on campus.

About Me

I am a case manager for Counseling Services. I graduated with my B.S. in Health Science from California State University, Sacramento.
I have experience working with diverse and underrepresented communities in higher education and healthcare. I have worked with underserved communities whom I have a passion for and I feel need support in accessing appropriate resources. I worked at California State University, Sacramento assisting students in navigating college life, accessing on and off-campus resources, and connecting students to appropriate support services. I also worked as an insurance case manager assisting clients with navigating their health insurance benefits and connecting them to beneficial community programs and services.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking, reading with my book club, watching reality television, listening to live music and traveling with friends.
