How to Decline Being Weighed at Your Appointment

  1. A medical provider will ask if you'd like to be weighed when you're called back for your appointment and you can say yes or no.
  2. There are “decline to weigh” cards in the lobby and at registration desks that you can give the medical provider as well, but it isn't required.

If an accurate weight is medically necessary for your appointment, you’ll be given the option to decline seeing or being told your weight.

Does knowing you can decline being weighed make you more likely to book an appointment? Let us know
