This program uses the interactive Kahoot! platform to test the audience's sexual health knowledge. By providing honest, accurate and inclusive information, the goal of the program is to empower students to talk about sex and reduce stigma around seeking resources.
Content can be tailored to audience and/or specific sexual health topic upon request. Minimum of 10 participants preferred.
This program requires:
- Computer/laptop with Internet
- Projector and screen
- Connection cable that fits the computer/laptop that you provide
In other words, you will need to make sure we are able to project onto a screen from a computer/laptop that has Internet access. If you do not have (or are unable to acquire) the required items, then please let us know so that we can prepare a non-electronic version of this program.
Learning Objectives
- Participants will be able to identify the components of consent
- Participants will be able to identify three barrier methods to protect themselves against STIs and HIV
- Participants will increase their comfort level with sexual health terminology
- Participants will learn about campus sexual well-being resources, including where to get themselves tested for STIs and HIV
