How I Work With Students

My approach to therapy focuses on developing a strong therapeutic connection with my clients, I weave together humor and a strengths-based perspective to foster a warm and supportive environment. I utilize an integrative approach that centers on Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP) focusing on relational and multicultural dynamics. I believe clients are the experts of their own lives and I strive to work collaboratively to identify treatment goals and how to work toward them while continuously holding self-compassion and empathy.

I work with all students and have a specialty area in working with LGBTQ+ and Latinx communities, romantic and social relationships, depression, anxiety, grief, identity development, outreach programming, life transitions, stress management, mindfulness, family systems, communication, male-identified stressors.
