North Hall is one of the two primary locations for services provided by Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS). SHCS provides quality and cost-sensitive care tailored to the unique and diverse needs of students. This building is at the heart of the SHCS mission, which is to provide campus health and wellness resources that enable students to successfully achieve their academic goals and promote lifelong wellness.

History of North Hall
SHCS Counseling Services was established in 1958 (then named The Counseling Center). The department occupied the second floor of North Hall, which was the original Dormitory on campus (then named the North Dormitory which was built in 1908).
