I believe that meaningful therapy begins with a strong, collaborative therapeutic relationship where clients feel safe, supported, and free to be their authentic selves. My goal is to create a space where students feel heard, understood, and empowered as they navigate their challenges. Above all, I strive to approach every student with curiosity, compassion, and respect. 

My clinical approach is informed by psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral (CBT) principles. I aim to help students better understand how their thoughts, emotions, or behaviors may reflect unrecognized or unaddressed elements beneath the surface. I tailor treatment to each student’s unique needs by working along a continuum of care, ranging from supportive to more insight-oriented interventions. Together, we may explore how lived experience can shape present challenges, while building practical strategies to support growth and well-being. My hope is for students to gain more clarity, self-compassion, and agency that meaningfully extends beyond the therapeutic environment. 

My clinical experience has allowed me to work with a wide range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, performance-related concerns, adjustments to transitions and change, chronic pain, and social determinants of health.  

I am the current Sport Psychology Emphasis intern. My dissertation focuses on the role of the Athletic Identity in the retirement experiences of collegiate and professional athletes. In my free time you can find me outside or in the gym, cooking or baking, at a musical festival, trying a new restaurant, but most importantly, and definitely most likely, spending time with my children (fur babies), family, and friends. Growing up, I spent half of my childhood in the east bay and the other half on the east coast in Maryland. I am also a UC Davis alumna!
