Ally Feiss

I am committed to creating a supportive, inclusive, and non-judgmental space tailored to each individual’s unique needs. I value honoring and integrating all aspects of my clients' identities into our work, and I am dedicated to working collaboratively to explore these identities through a multicultural and trauma-informed lens. I work from a client-centered perspective, aiming to meet each person where they are.

 

I work with all students, and have a specialty interest in eating disorders. I have previous experience working with student athletes, focusing on the intersectionality between high performance athletic demands and eating disorders and/or body image concerns. I also have interests in Asian American, multi-racial and BIPOC mental health, anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and ADHD.

I am a psychology doctoral intern in the eating disorder emphasis. I am a University of Massachusetts Lowell alumni where I earned my B.S. in Psychology, Criminal Justice and Gender Studies and received my M.S. in Clinical Psychology from the University of San Francisco. I am currently working toward my Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of San Francisco. I have previous experiences working at other university counseling centers, as well as working in a substance use treatment center.

 

Aside from clinical and professional life, I enjoy traveling, trying new foods, spending time with friends, my cat, reading, and working out.
