How I Work With Students

Throughout my training, I have developed a deep passion for helping all students. I value creating a therapeutic relationship which encompasses vulnerability, openness, and honesty. I hope the space that we co-create can be a place of safety, trust, and challenge.

A particular group of students I deeply resonate with are student-athletes. As a former Division I rugby player and clinician who has worked with numerous teams, individuals, and coaches, I understand the often-competing roles that athletes must take on. I hope to support athletes through the issues they may face ranging from sport and performance concerns to life concerns to mental health concerns, or a combination of these. I approach my work with athletes from Cognitive Behavioral and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy lens.

While I have specialty interest in working with student-athletes, I do work with all students. I am passionate about helping students with issues related to adjustment to college, stress, depression, anxiety, identity, emotional regulation, and trauma and PTSD.

About Me

I am originally from the Chicago area and earned my PhD from the University of Tulsa. Outside of work, I enjoy playing Australian Rules Football, snowboarding, hiking, and spending time with my partner and my cat Maisie.
