How I Work With Students
I aim to provide holistic, culturally-sensitive, and trauma-informed psychotherapy services. I am passionate about helping clients feel empowered through their healing journey. I think one of my most important roles as a therapist is to provide a nonjudgmental space to my clients, to help them connect with themselves at deeper levels and develop an understanding of their emotional struggles and their pathways moving forward.
I have an integrative therapeutic approach and love to always expand my knowledge in theories and practices that help me better support my clients. I pay special attention to early important relationships, sociopolitical factors that affect our well-being and mental health, interpersonal dynamics, our internal dialogue and self-treatment, and our relationship with our bodies.
About Me
I am a Spanish native speaker and proud Peruvian (and half Chilean). As an immigrant and daughter of an immigrant I am particularly passionate about the immigrant experience and the ways how we try to build bridges between our different identities. I am also passionate about ways to slow down and connect with art, so when I am not working I enjoy spending time with family, going out for nature walks, reading, painting, and dancing.
