About Me
Elissa Zavala is a case manager for Counseling Services. Elissa graduated with her B.S. In Health Science from California State University, Sacramento.
Elissa worked for Associated Students, Inc. at Sacramento State University assisting students in accessing on and off campus resources. Elissa also worked as an insurance case manager for Centene Corporation for three years before joining SHCS. Elissa is passionate about working with diverse students from underserved and underrepresented populations, so they can receive comprehensive services and get connected to essential resources. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, going to concerts and traveling with her friends.
