How I Work With Students

I use a strength-based approach that integrates multicultural and ecological frameworks which acknowledge that each of us brings our own life experiences, knowledge, wisdom, and cultural identities to the process of counseling. I take a holistic approach to health and wellness and collaborate with you to create an affirming space in which you can explore concerns and gain skills for coping more effectively with life's challenges.

Professional Interests

Mental health research, outreach and education, social justice/diversity education and training, identity development, academic performance and procrastination, clinical training and supervision, and career/professional development for women of color, substance abuse prevention and intervention.
