About Me

I am a Doctoral Intern at Student Health and Counseling Services, with a focus on working with students experiencing disordered eating and body image concerns. I am passionate about supporting my clients to build a life outside their eating disorder, develop a flexible relationship with food and movement, and practice cultivating a sense of identity centered in body neutrality and values exploration. In my free time, I love spending time with my cat Basil, thrifting, cooking, traveling, and going to concerts.

How I Work With Students

I practice from a person-centered, collaborative approach using a blend of techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I seek to create a therapeutic space that is defined by a sense of safety, warmth, and acceptance. I firmly believe that each client is doing their best at any given moment with the knowledge they currently have, and that they are capable of developing effective strategies needed to improve their quality of life. My goal is to meet my clients where they are at nonjudgmentally, providing them with the skills needed to increase connection with self, others, and the present moment, and produce lasting behavioral change.
