QUOTES FROM PREVIOUS STF AMBASSADORS

I am thankful that I got to be an ambassador because it gave me clarity about the goals of public health, and I had the privilege of working with a team of passionate individuals at the same time.

“What I loved most about this experience was being able to engage one-on-one with fellow peers of the University. I definitely felt like I made a positive impact {{on}} my community.”

“Thank you for providing me with this amazing internship. It taught me things I have never learned throughout four years of college.”

I became educated on how the industry targets marginalized groups, how it effects the environment, and how the industry has changed over time. As an ambassador you get to collaborate with other organizations on campus, organize tabling and outreach programs, and help preserve the beauty of UC Davis. I gained a lot of experiences and skills that ultimately prepared me for applying for jobs.”
