About the Just in Case Mobile Website

Just in Case is a new resource for UC Davis students seeking information about services regarding mental health. Just in Case is designed to inform students about the signs of distress, the tools to talk to a friend in need and access the resources available on campus. Students can seek out information regarding feelings and emotions they are feeling themselves as well as information regarding what to do if they are worried about a friend. Just in Case also provides links and phone numbers for resources on campus for where they can receive additional help.

Just in Case is a part of the Student Mental Health Initiative, which seeks to strengthen the relationship students have to mental health resources on campus and improve the willingness of students to seek mental health information and suicide prevention services when in need. It is important for students to have an online and confidential outlet for mental-health screening and consultation. UC Davis Student Health and Counseling Services (SHCS) encourages students to seek out information when in need and the launch of this mobile website will help facilitate that process.
